The lovely Fall colors are just starting to ease in, so of course we’re all snuggly scarves and butternut squash around here. We attempted to go pumpkin picking this past weekend, but with the unpredictability of napping children, Drew getting called into work, and the general mayhem of life these days, it was kind of a bust. We did make it up to Carter’s Mountain here in Charlottesville to briefly take in the gorgeous views and some tunes, but I never did make it up to the pumpkins, or to the enormous mums that they have every year. It was ok though, because our CSA included pumpkins (and fresh pressed cider!) last week, so I do have some happy globes on the front steps, and I don’t know what it is about this time of year, but my crafty mind runneth over. We’ll see what I’m actually able to do, but in the meantime, I thought I would share some pictures of my very favorite pumpkin that I’ve found so far…
(I mean, I think he’s the cutest one in the patch, but you know, my credibility is totally shot.)
Love the fall pics!!!
He goes from curious to very serious to tickled pink.
Pretty darling!
Yummiest pumpkin of the year! So cute 🙂
